CycleJames is a private indoor-cycling app. Your data stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. CycleJames does not have a server, does not have user accounts, and does not transmit ride data, personal information, or analytics off the device.
What stays on your device
- Your Functional Threshold Power (FTP) and other settings, stored in iOS user defaults.
- Workouts you create or customize, stored locally.
- Completed ride sessions including power, cadence, and heart-rate samples, stored locally in the app's database.
Uninstalling the app removes all of the above. CycleJames does not back up to iCloud unless your device has app-data iCloud backup enabled at the system level.
Bluetooth
CycleJames connects to FTMS-compatible smart trainers and Bluetooth heart-rate monitors over local Bluetooth. These connections are device-to-device only and do not pass through any CycleJames servers.
Third-party services
CycleJames uses no third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, crash reporters, or tracking technologies.
Children
CycleJames is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated text will appear on this page with a new revision date.
