Privacy Policy
JB Glossary is a professional reference for the language of healthcare, AI, law, finance, real estate, and insurance. It is built to work without collecting any information about you.
What we collect
Nothing. JB Glossary collects no personal information, no usage analytics, no device identifiers, and no data of any kind from anyone using the app.
What stays on your device
The app stores the following locally, on your device only, using iOS UserDefaults:
- The glossary terms you have starred as favorites.
- Which industry you last visited, so the app opens where you left off.
- A local record of which industry unlocks you own, so the paywall doesn't reappear after purchase.
None of this information leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or any third party. It is removed when you delete the app.
In-app purchases
JB Glossary uses Apple's StoreKit framework to offer one-time in-app purchases. When you make a purchase, Apple — not us — handles the transaction, including any payment information. Apple's privacy practices apply to those transactions; we do not see or receive your payment details. We receive only an entitlement flag from Apple indicating that a purchase was successful, which is used locally to unlock content.
Third-party services
JB Glossary uses no third-party SDKs, no analytics services, no advertising frameworks, and no crash reporters. The app does not contact any server we operate, because we do not operate one.
Children
JB Glossary is rated 4+ in the App Store and is suitable for all ages. As above, no data is collected from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes materially, the updated text will appear on this page with a new revision date.
