How are entries sourced?
Every entry summarises publicly available information from authoritative sources — FDA, NIH, NCI, NHGRI, WHO, EMA for healthcare; IEEE, NIST, arXiv, model cards for AI; SEC, Federal Reserve, BIS, IFRS for finance; US Code, state codes, Supreme Court opinions, Restatements for law; HUD, IRS, USPAP, and industry standards for real estate; NAIC, state insurance codes, and standard policy forms for insurance; IEEE RAS, ROS / Open Robotics, NIST, ISO, SAE, FAA, and arXiv for robotics. The full list per industry is in the in-app About screen.
What's the difference between the free taster and the full industry?
Letters A–D in every industry are free — roughly 25–29% of each industry's terms, ~1,900 terms in total across all seven. Letters E–Z become available when you unlock that industry via a one-time in-app purchase. The "All Industries" upgrade unlocks the rest of every industry, including any future ones added in future updates.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?
Open any paywall sheet (tap a locked industry tile, or any letter E–Z) and tap Restore Purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and apply to all your devices.
Why don't my favorites sync across devices?
JB Glossary stores favorites locally on each device and does not have a server or account system, so favorites do not sync between devices. iCloud app-data backup at the system level may carry them across as part of a device restore.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstall the app. JB Glossary collects nothing and stores only your starred favorites and purchase entitlements locally; uninstalling removes them from the device. Apple holds the purchase record on your Apple ID — that's how Restore Purchases works.
